Description
Scolopin-2 is an antimicrobial peptide that can be isolated from centipede venom. Scolopin-2 exhibits potent antibacterial activity against a variety of Gram-positive/negative bacteria and fungi (MIC ?? 7.5 ??g/mL). Scolopin-2 shows moderate hemolytic activity against both human and rabbit erythrocytes. Scolopin-2 can be used in antimicrobial research.
