PR-39
Description
PR-39 is a proline- and arginine-rich natural antimicrobial peptide and a non-competitive, reversible, allosteric proteasome inhibitor. PR-39 reversibly binds to the ??7 subunit of the proteasome and blocks the degradation of the NF-??B inhibitor I??B?? through the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. PR-39 stimulates angiogenesis in mice, inhibits inflammatory responses, and significantly reduces myocardial infarction size.
