Description
EK1 is a peptide-based coronavirus (CoV) fusion inhibitor with broad-spectrum inhibitory effects against multiple coronaviruses. EK1 shows significantly enhanced pan-coronavirus fusion inhibitory activity. EK1 effectively inhibits SARS-CoV-2. EK1 can form a stable six-helix bundle (6HB) structure with the short ??-hCoV and long ??-hCoV N-terminal heptad repeat sequences.
