Description
Desotamide is a cyclic hexapeptide antibiotic originally isolated from Streptomyces. It is effective against Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSE; MIC 16, 12.5, and 32 ??g/mL, respectively).
