Decoralin is a short-chain cationic ??-helical antimicrobial peptide that can be isolated from the venom of the decorative potter wasp (Oreumenes decoratus). Decoralin exhibits rapid and selective antibacterial activity by disrupting bacterial cell membranes. Decoralin can be used in antimicrobial research.
