Quinupristin mesylate
Description
Quinupristin mesylate is a streptogramin antibiotic. Quinupristin mesylate blocks the synthesis of peptide bonds in bacterial ribosomal subunits, prevents the elongation of polypeptide chains, and promotes the dissociation of incomplete protein chains.
