Maximin H39 is an antimicrobial peptide. Maximin H39 has antibacterial activity against C. albicans, S. aureus, and B. subtilis (MIC: 9.4, 9.4, and 18.8 ??g/mL, respectively). Maximin H39 has hemolytic activity against human and rabbit erythrocytes.
