Description
Malformin A1 is a cyclic pentapeptide isolated from Aspergillus niger with antibacterial activity. Malformin A1 shows potent cytotoxic activity against human colorectal cancer cells. Malformin A1 induces apoptosis by activating PARP and caspases 3, -7, and -9.
