Description
LDKA is a helical membrane-active antibacterial peptide. LDKA forms a collection of pores of varying sizes. LDKA has antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) in nutrient-rich media, with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of 10-70 ??M.
