Description
IDR-1 is an antimicrobial peptide active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. IDR-1 resists infection by selectively modulating innate immunity without significant toxicity. IDR-1 has anti-inflammatory and anti-infective properties, enhances the levels of monocyte chemokines, and attenuates the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines.
